I love my Bruins, Marchand and Bergeron have more heart and talent than any other two players on any team imo. Pastranak, Debrusk, McAvoy wow this team looks good. McQuaid coming back is huge as well, he is a force. Krejci looks healthy and is rocking it, can't wait for the Habs again on Saturday.

was wondering the other day how many of the young kids Clode would play if he were here.

and to be fair with spooner, it wasnt just last year, but every year since they got the kid, wtf is he doing on the team. Things are finally clicking for him,...
as the bruins are playing a faster more uptempo game..

Bergy is a lock to win another Selke.
Its crazy that line has only given up (2) even strength goals all year. Plus they have scored over (20) 5 on 5. That is one of the most dominant stats I have ever heard. As well Carlo toe picked on both of those goals this year. His giveaways are a major concern for me right now.

I have no problem rolling with Grez throughout the year. Lots of chatter on needing to replace him. Haggs thinks Martin would a suitable replacement for Grez! Is Haggs mental? If Martin is so good why doesn't SJ want him in their top 4.
If anything, they could use a legit legit upgrade on their top 4. Hard pass on plugs like Paul Martin.

They certainly are playing a fast tempo. The work ethic is astounding. I've never seen a Bruins team faster than a Habs team. Its happening.

what are the chances Bos could land Pacioretty? I don't see it happening but him and Krejci playing together would be unreal.

Yeah there is no reason to replace Grez and they honestly dont really need anything on DEF right now. If healthy they can rotate Mcquaid, Miller, Carlo and Grez.

Grez shouldnt be the odd man out when everyone is healthy either. IMO

I really dont think they should do anything. Unless the Kings want to send us Doughty.

I don't see many holes in Grez's game on the last pairing against other teams lower lines. Although haven't watched him a ton. Just like his quickness and how he moves the puck. I honestly think Carlo's spot is in question with Mcquaid. But....don't want to stunt Carlo's game. But the odd game off could send a message.
Like that drop pass giveaway to Barzal last night was gross. He should have rode pine for the rest of the game. Off the boards and out there.

He fits a need, but I dont think the Bruins have traded with montreal for 30 years, and they dont have the cap space, so salary would have to go back, I'd bet on the Habs making the playoffs before I bet on them trading patches to Boston.

It would be a great fit but the chances of it happening are nil until Pacman becomes a ufa, lol. Habs fans would shut her down if that happened

Agreed, been saying this since McQuaid has been healthy, Sit the Kid a few games it's a GOOD thing,
Love the pairing with (1) offensive guy and (1) defensive guy
Z - Chucky
Miller - Gryz
Lone Wolf - Krug

plenty of Offense, plenty of Defense plenty of Toughness

Then you spell Carlo in for Quaider / Miller on some nights , however IMO no way Gryz should be sitting, NONE

Might be a good idea to spell Chara as well. Save him for big games. Carlo has a lot to learn, but if he rotates in he could serve on several different pairs and get some good looks in all situations. Then sit and watch.

As for patches, Boston will likely never trade with Montreal. Might be interesting at the deadline to see if they go for depth, but at this point they are on a roll and I don't see Sweeney messing up the chemistry too much. Maybe bottom 6, but more than likely any trade will result in a minor move for a bit more depth. My two cents

I agree resting Chara some games would be smart, and right now would be the time to do it with all the healthy defenseman they have available... but I don't think he'd allow it.

They have Bjork, Cehlarik, JFK, Czarnik, Beleskey, Blidh... even Agostino and some other guys that have seen NHL time down in Providence. They've got guys that can step into the top 6 and the bottom 6 if needed, so I really hope they don't go trading for rentals/veteran help. If they do anything I hope they make a trade to land an impact player, but right now that doesn't even look necessary. They definitely have the pieces to make it happen though.

And yeah... completely agree that Boston won't trade with Montreal.

Just want to show Patrice some love... damn are we lucky to get to watch that guy every game #37

Nice that we get the Habs on the 2nd night of back to backs for a change, but I wish it was a 1pm game, good day for it...
